Director Nayibe Tavares-Abel finds her great-grandmother's diary from 1919. With the help of her friends and exes, they create a 16mm silent film based on the diary, discovering that jealousy and unrequited love are not a thing of the past, but passions that still belong to the human heart.
This short film integrates documentary research, a 16mm film, silent film acting methods and stopmotion animation. An homage to the birth of the 7th art and its early masters. A story of love and of love of filmmaking.
