YUBARTA receives IFF Fund

On February 2024, the documentary project Yubarta was awarded the SuMirada Film Fund by the IFF Panama Film Festival.

The jury for the Su Mirada Fund, in the development category, consisting of Xenia Rivery, Reneé Robinson, and Ximena Urrutia, made their decision based on the way it conceptually connects the different facets of migration with the idea of the cyclical search for a better future, which also reflects the meaning of telling this story.
